Flex Fuel Stoves

Features and Benefits

Why Own A Flex-fuel Stove?

  • You’re tired of hauling in pile after pile of wood and then carrying out the piles of ash.
  • The fuel man has just delivered another load of fuel that equals your house payment.
  • You’re just plain tired of having to put up with turning the thermostat down to conserve heat, put on another sweater and it still is just too cold!
  • Last but not least you would like to feel the warmth that you had with wood and yes you miss the romance of watching a fire burn.

These are just a few of the reasons that the MagnuM Countryside series 3500L Flex-fuel Stove is right for you. Modern technology has joined up with good old fashioned warm radiant heat to give you an affordable alternative to high heat costs.

Your MagnuM Countryside Flex-fuel Stove has the capabilities of burning shelled corn - wood pellets - and a host of other fuels that normally would fill up our landfills as waste. The cost savings for burning these types of fuels is substantial over conventional means of heating depending on the area that you live in and the type of fuel available.

Shelled Corn is the lowest cost alternative allowing you to save up to more than 60% on your heating bills while burning the Farmers own friend. This helps the local economy and is renewable in a few short months.

Your MagnuM Countryside 3500P Flex-fuel Stove is designed to be installed with a direct vent system so that you will save thousands of dollars on not having to put up a new chimney. The negative draft combustion allows you to open the door without getting smoke into the home.

FAQ's
Was the MagnuM Countryside model 3500P designed to run on Corn?

Many companies are trying to convert wood pellet stoves to burn corn or a corn, wood pellet mix. This stove was the first nationally certified Flex-fuel burning stove. This stove can burn corn, wood pellets or a combination of corn and wood pellets along with some other types of pellets such as cherry pits or olive pits.

Does the MagnuM Countryside 3500P have a self cleaning firepot?
Yes. The Countryside has a specially designed firepot so that the ashes drop into the ash drawer below the stove making it easy to use. It is also available with the optional Tri-level combustion firepot.

How does the MagnuM Countryside 3500P vent?
The Countryside Stove vents out of the building through side wall or a vertical termination. Exhaust piping needs to be a 3" or 4" “L” vent listed pipe.

Is the Countryside hard to install?
No. However we recommend that a factory trained dealer install the stove so that proper installation is achieved. The Countryside can be installed in about any location as long as side wall or vertical termination is available.

Can you burn "seed corn" in the Countryside?
No. Seed corn is treated with chemical pesticides that are harmful or fatal if swallowed; therefore, seed corn is dangerous to have in the house, especially where children can reach it.

What kind of clearance does the stove need?
The Countryside only needs a 1" clearance for the back, side and corner. This takes the physical size of the stove and makes it smaller because of the closeness of the clearance requirements.
